School and Group Bookings
Science Oxford Live is suitable for schools, brownies & scouts, playschemes & nurseries.
Opening times
Monday to Friday, 10am to 5pm for pre-booked schools and groups only.
Discovery Zone
A visit to the discovery zone is £2 + VAT per child and lasts for one hour.
A visit to the discovery zone followed by a show or workshop is £4 + VAT per child and lasts for two hours. The activities are age-specific and feature fun demonstrations which stimulate pupils’ thinking and develop their investigative skills.
- Accompanying adults go free and they are welcome to make free pre- visits to have a look around the centre.
- We do not serve any food at Science Oxford Live but groups can eat their packed lunch onsite by prior arrangement.
- Groups who book for a visit will also receive resources to help them make the most of their visit. These include five booklets on the main themes of the discovery zone: light, sound, problem-solving, forces and magnets.
